To scan your mailbox for emails, you need to prepare your Gmail account for connecting to LMA. For this you need to enable IMAP, 2-Step Verification and create an app password:

  1. Enable IMAP:

Head to Gmail settings, click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab, and select "Enable IMAP." Don’t forget to confirm this settings by clicking on the “Save Changes” button.

2. Turn on 2-Step Verification:

Navigate to your Google Account Security tab. On the Signing in to Google panel, click 2-Step Verification. Confirm your configuration by clicking on the “Get started” button.

3. Create an App Password:

  • Navigate back to the Google Account Security tab.
